The last remaining survivor of the US TBR POWs, Robert Hanley died in SEP 2024 at age 102.

As of 2022, there are but three of the POWs remaining alive. All have reached the century mark having been born in FEB & MAR 1922. Two were Sailors from the HOUSTON, SEA2c Hanley and Sizemore. We also celebrate that Army CPL Rufus Choate also hit the century mark.

As noted, Marvin SIZEMORE died in 2023 just short of his 101st b.day.
Army SGT Luther Prunty, by my account was the eldest former POW when he died at age 102 in 2015.
