17g. Hintok

The key engineering role that the Hintok area plays is discussed in detail in Section 10g. Today the area is largely reclaimed by nature and only remnants of the TBR can be detected and even that only by the trained eye.

Immediately post-war, the most photographed structure was the impressing Three-Tiered bridge that began the climb into the highlands.

There are no known photographs of the nearby Pack-of-Cards Bridge so named because it collapsed 2-3 times during its construction.
